ST-ART APP aims to develop skills and enhance self employability by creating connections between VET, education and labour market in the sector of Cultural Assets and Heritage through working with transnational partners. The project, in particular intends to address the European Priority "promotion of the acquisition of key competences in VET (priority LEO-Tralnno -9): the project aims to define specific didactic tools and methodologies for supporting beneficiaries in training and further training activities in the acquisition and the use of knowledge, skills and qualifications to facilitate personal development, employability and participation in the European labour market. Our project will support close links to working life in order to make VET more responsive to labour market needs and more supportive of inclusive growth. The project aims to improve sectoral identification (cultural and creative entreprises) and anticipation of skill and competence needs and their integration in VET provision.
Tablets, smartphones, and all other last generation "mobile" tools are now well known and massively used; these tools more then being technological products open an interesting scenario in the training multimedia area. The advantage of these products is to be portable (the notebook on the contrary is in fact "transportable"), multimedia and open to the e-book world.
The new multimedia tools will make attractive the acquisition of key competences in VET related to the self-employability in creative entreprises among youngsters and people interested in creating cultural and creative businesses.
Through the project we will contribute to:
- the development of the Community as an advanced knowledge-based society.
- improve the quality and to increase the volume of cooperation between organisations providing learning opportunities, cultural and creative enterprises, social partners and other relevant bodies throughout Europe (IT, EL, PT, HU, KR, UK, DK).
- enhance the attractiveness of VET in the domain of development of enterprise in Cultural Assets, Heritage and creative industries, faciliting the development of innovative practices in the field of vocational education and training other than at tertiary level, and their transfer, including from one participating country to others.
Moreover ST-ART APP intends to address the following European priority: Encouragement of cooperation between VET and the world of work.
